Sports Premium
Strategy
Sport is an important part of life at Green Oaks, both during the timetabled school day and through extra-curricular activities. All children benefit from at least two hours of dedicated Physical Education each week and we subsidise many sporting clubs to ensure all children can participate and are supported to join pathway clubs.
At Oakwood and Greenfields, Sports Premium is often used to:

supplement the sporting activities facilitated by school

provide coaching from L2 specialists

improve the quality of teaching in PE

facilitate high engagement in inter-school competition
-
maintain access to high quality resources
-
facilitate active play for all during lunchtimes, including running lunchtime clubs
In July each year, we review how we have spent this funding.
