Volunteering to Help

We actively encourage people to come in and help in our schools.

This may be for a morning, an afternoon or just to hear children read in the first half hour of the day.

In the interests of safeguarding children, all volunteers have to complete a simple application form, giving the name of two character references.  They are also DBS checked and given a briefing on health and safety, child protection and confidentiality. 

Volunteers are allocated to help in each year group according to the needs of each school and to ensure equality of support across the year groups.  If you would like to volunteer to help, please speak to the school office who will provide you with the relevant information.
