Working and Learning Together
We teach our children what it means to be part of a community and how to respect and value each other.
Being part of a community comes with roles and responsibilities and we work hard to create a culture of collaboration and accountability within our schools. This includes giving our children a voice in what happens at school, working together to find solutions and believing that everyone is important and can make a difference.
Both schools have specific roles and responsibilities that the children take on during their time at Green Oaks including:Clean Oaks
We also teach our children that everyone is important when you are part of a community. All year groups contribute to looking after and caring for their school and the local environment.
Year 6 Play LeadersOur Year 6 children take it in turn to lead positive play during lunchtimes at Oakwood.
Evergreen Cafe
The children have the opportunity to host member so of our community whether this is to play vintage games together, share stories and learn together.
