Working and Learning Together
At Green Oaks, we believe that strength comes from working together in partnership.
We teach our children what it means to be part of a community and how to respect and value each other.
Being part of a community comes with roles and responsibilities and we work hard to create a culture of collaboration and accountability within our schools. This includes giving our children a voice in what happens at school, working together to find solutions and believing that everyone is important and can make a difference.
Both schools have specific roles and responsibilities that the children take on during their time at Green Oaks including:
- Classroom helpers
- Play leaders
- Lunchtime helpers
- School Councillors
- Young Governors
However, we also teach our children that everyone is important when you are part of a community. Whether you are the Head of School, a Teaching and Learning Support Assistant, a School Councillor or a member of a class, we all have a part to play in making our schools a community to be proud of.
